Quick Answer
Use Campaigns when you already know the campaign you want to inspect or edit and need direct control over status, budgets, or campaign-specific context.
When To Use This
Use this guide for direct campaign edits, budget corrections, or campaign-level review that does not need the recommendation queue first.
Prerequisites
You need the right account and marketplace selected, plus write access if you plan to change status or budget values.

Fast Path
Filter to the campaign you care about, confirm you are in the right marketplace, make the smallest change that solves the problem, and then verify the result in Activity Log.
How To Use This
Choose Campaigns when the decision is already yours. If you need Prism to help decide what matters first, start in Command Center instead.
Campaigns is best for:
- budget adjustments you already understand
- pausing or reactivating known campaigns
- checking campaign-level context before making a direct edit
It is not the best page for broad account triage. If you arrive here without a specific campaign question, you are probably early.
How To Decide
Use direct edits when the problem is narrow and obvious. Use recommendations when the problem needs evidence, prioritization, or a broader account read.
If you find yourself opening multiple campaign rows looking for "what matters," back out and go to Dashboard or Command Center.
FAQ
Why does a campaign sometimes look stale after I edit it?
Because execution confirmation and page refresh timing are separate from the edit itself. Check Activity Log before assuming the mutation failed.
Next Steps
Move to Manage Keywords if the next decision is below the campaign level, or Use Activity Log to verify what changed.
